    Your Role

    As a new grad SLP on our team, you’ll:

    • Access our New Grad Mentorship Program, robust admin and resource support—so you can focus on your clients

    • Deliver individualized and consultative therapy and assessment services

    • Collaborate with our talented team of SLPs and multidisciplinary professionals

    • Enjoy ongoing opportunities for professional growth and mentorship

    What You’ll Do

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments and craft individualized treatment plans

    • Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy to help clients unlock their communication potential

    • Track client progress and adjust plans to keep things moving forward

    • Work alongside a diverse team to ensure holistic, client-centred care

    • Stay current with the latest research and best practices

    • Build strong, positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues

    What We’re Looking For

    You’re a self-motivated, effective communicator who is passionate about helping others. We’re looking for someone who has:

    • A Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

    • (Or eligibility for) registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC

    Position Summary

    You will have the opportunity to deliver individualized and consultative therapy and assessment services in-clinic or online. To ensure the highest quality of service, you will be provided with comprehensive administrative and resource supports as well as opportunities to collaborate with our team of SLPs.

    You will :

    • Support neurodiverse children and their families to decrease participation restrictions in a child’s everyday life and exploit their potential to thrive at their occupations of life.

    • Develop, implement and customize therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of neurodiverse youth who are autistic, have sensory processing challenges, ADHD, Anxiety or any neurodevelopmental difference.

    • Take a holistic, team approach with each child and their family while working with other therapy partners to implement individualized treatment plans and ensure measurable progress

    • Provide family members with valuable education and strategies to support their child's development at home, empowering them to be active partners in their child's progress.

    • Stay abreast of the latest research, techniques, and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

    Qualifications

    We are seeking a self-directed OT with the ability to communicate effectively. You will also bring the following to the team:

    • a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy

    • eligibility for College of OT in BC
