Celebrate the end of the school year with us by playing board games at The Outpost in Langford! Choose from almost 1,000 games ranging in difficulty level from beginner to advanced, and kick off the summer with sensory-friendly fun. Caregivers can bring children ages five and up to this family-focused event.

An evening of playing games at Outpost Board Game Cafe
Our Vancouver Island Regional Coordinator Sarah Taylor will greet you when you arrive
After you have been greeted, feel free to grab a game and enjoy
Staff will remain on-site to help you select the right game for your needs and skill level
You can try as many games as you like
All tables will have complimentary popcorn and chips
There is also food and drinks for purchase

Stay for an hour, a couple of hours, or until closing — it’s entirely up to you

Parking:
There is customer parking directly behind the cafe and underground parking with the entrance between our building and next door (2830 and 2838 Peatt Rd.)

All Southern Vancouver Island AutismBC family memberships with children five years and older
Registration Information
Registration opens June 2 at 8 AM and is first-come, first-served.
Rules:
Space is limited to 40 participants total for 12–14 families
Each household may register up to four people
Spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
Children must be accompanied by a caregiver at all times

Register every family member who will be attending
If you have difficulties with logging in or registration, please email us
Registration tips:
To speed up registration, log in to your AutismBC member portal ahead of time and make sure your household members are added to your profile
This ensures they appear automatically during registration and increases your chances of securing a spot
We recommend logging in and testing your access before registration opens, as this event fills up quickly
Once the event reaches capacity, registration will close and any additional entries will automatically be added to the waitlist
Event Cancellation Policy:
If you are no longer able to attend, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance
This helps ensure fairness and gives other members an opportunity to participate
Failure to provide a timely notice may result in you and the other members in your household being waitlisted for future AutismBC events
